- Wednesday was our final walk through. Wade went over how to take care of a new house and showed us where everything was.
- Thursday we signed papers and closed. It could not have gone any smoother than it did. We signed half the papers we thought that we were going to, and had a few fun surprises along the way. On the way home from the title company we stopped by Edge Homes and picked up our keys. At that point it felt a little more real.
- Friday we started moving a few boxes in and I decided that I wanted to have a sleep over at the new house. We didn't have furniture or anything there, but I was too excited to not want to stay the night. We picked up some Cafe Rio and watched Here Comes the Boom on our iPad. It was a lot of fun.
- Saturday was the big day. We woke up early and put out some carpet protector and left for the condo. It was time to start the real move. We had everyone meet us at the condo at 11:00. We were driving to the new house by 11:35. It only took a half hour to move all of our stuff into the trailer. It took about half an hour to move everything into the new house too. We had some awesome help, and not a lot of stuff.
It is still a little surreal waking up in the house. Chris and I think that we are on vacation and that we will be going home in a couple of days. There's no way that it is real yet, but it is. It is real, and it is an awesome reality that we are living in. We are excited to start making new memories and start our new life in Springville. It is exactly where we need to be at this time in our lives. Chapter 2 has begun.
